Delete your GuruTribe account & data

This page explains how to permanently delete your GuruTribe account and the data associated with it.

You can ask us to permanently delete your GuruTribe account at any time, including after you have uninstalled the app. We will delete your account and all of the personal data associated with it.

What gets deleted

When we process your request, we permanently delete your account and all data associated with it, including:

• Your name and mobile number;
• Your profile details (such as avatar, and for coaches, coaching areas and biography);
• Your classes, enrolments, attendance records, and fee records;
• Any in-app messages, ratings, and reviews you created;
• Your notifications and usage activity linked to your account.

Nothing is retained. We do not keep a copy of your personal data after deletion.

How to request deletion

1. Email us at gurutribe.in@gmail.com from any email address.
2. Use the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.
3. Include the name and the registered mobile number on the account, so we can identify it.

Confirming it's your account

To protect your data, we may contact you to confirm that you are the owner of the account before we delete it — for example, by verifying the registered mobile number. This prevents someone else from requesting deletion of your account.

How long it takes

We will process your request and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving it. If we need to verify your identity first, the 30-day period begins once we have confirmed you are the account owner.
